ICYMI: Yoder Faces Backlash For Being a ‘No-Show’ at Student-led Town Hall

Calling Rep. Kevin Yoder. While hundreds of his constituents, including Johnson County students, teachers and parents attended a student-led town hall over the weekend, Kevin Yoder couldn’t even be bothered to show up. Instead, his constituents learned he would be a ‘no-show’ in the local press and went ahead and held the town hall without him.

“If Kevin Yoder can’t give Kansas students, parents and teachers the time of day, he needs to look for another line of work,” said DCCC Spokesperson Rachel Irwin. “Kevin Yoder gives plenty of face time to Party leaders, donors and Washington insiders, but when it comes to serving his community he’s a ‘no-show.’ Given the enthusiasm on the ground, it’s very clear this type of behavior will be remembered at the polls.”
