Anti-abortion group National Right to Life Committee’s (NRLC) super PAC is investing in AZ-06, going to bat for Juan Ciscomani as Election Day approaches.
Ciscomani cheered the end of Roe v. Wade and supports Arizona’s 15-week abortion ban that has no exceptions for rape or incest. NRLC knows that Ciscomani will push their extreme anti-choice agenda if sent to Congress, and this latest investment should send a stark warning to Arizona voters.

NRLC supports a nationwide abortion ban.

NRLC is pushing model legislation in states that would ban abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest.
-
NRLC’s general counsel, Jim Bopp, bragged about their model legislation that would allow states to force young girls to carry a rapist’s child to term, and even said NRLC hopes that child rape victims “would understand the reason and ultimately the benefit of having the child.”

NRLC wants to ban telemedicine for medical abortions, at a time when cancer patients and people with auto-immune diseases are unable to access their life-saving medication because anti-abortion extremists worry it could be used to terminate a pregnancy.
NRLC’s investment in this race is yet another reminder that Ciscomani and House Republicans will ban abortion nationwide if given the opportunity.
DCCC spokesperson Monica Robinson:
“Out of 435 congressional races across the country, an anti-abortion group who wants to ban abortion nationwide chose to invest in Juan Ciscomani. This should send a clear message to AZ-06 voters that if elected Ciscomani will work with his extreme Republican colleagues to ban abortion in every state.”
