Mike France Says Yes to National Abortion Ban

As Republican candidates nationwide work overtime to avoid the subject of reproductive freedom, Mike France is cementing his role as the most extreme threat to choice in the New England GOP.

France, in an interview with WFSB, stated unequivocally that he would vote for a national abortion ban: “I would vote yes.”

These are only the latest and most brazen comments from a candidate who has eagerly cheered the right-wing assault on choice at every juncture. France celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade as an opportunity to restrict abortion in Connecticut and has embraced the support of MAGA GOP leaders like Kevin McCarthy who rolled out plans this week to restrict abortion nationwide.
