| Today, the DCCC is launching a new national radio ad campaign aimed at reaching rural voters across 48 states who are being crushed by a Republican-controlled Washington.
“Vote For” highlights the record of Republicans in Congress who promised a ‘Golden Age of Agriculture’. As farmers and ranchers across the country face record high fertilizer and diesel costs, foreign import betrayals, disappearing domestic and international markets, and gutted health care, Republicans have only offered bailout bandaids to try and stop the bleeding. Their actions have done little to bring down costs or bring about fair markets and long-term economic stability for our producers. Every farm bankruptcy is a stain on their leadership.
The ad will run on Rural Radio on SiriusXM – an extension of RFD-TV’s network that reaches more than 50 million nationwide across their platforms.

Transcript:
Diesel and fertilizer costs, up.
War, tariffs, foreign beef.
Developers and data centers moving in.
Our healthcare, gutted.
It just gets harder every year.
And instead of making it better, out of touch Washington Republicans have made it worse.
This election… I’m going to vote for something different.
To protect our way of life.
I’m voting for a Democrat.
The radio ad is part of the DCCC’s Our Power, Our Country Program, an historic eight-figure investment to engage voters of color and rural communities. The investment also marks the first time the DCCC has had a program dedicated to specifically engaging rural voters.
DCCC Rural Engagement Manager Jacob Burg:
For far too long, farmers and ranchers have been forced to bear the brunt of a chaotic and broken Republican-run Washington. Adding insult to injury, war, foreign imports, healthcare cuts, and crumbling domestic and international markets in the past year have made it nearly impossible for folks to get ahead. It’s beyond past time D.C. stopped treating American agriculture as a political pawn and finally puts our producers first. |
