Nicole Malliotakis Stretches The Truth Again As She Makes Her Next Calculated Political Move

Career politician and former lobbyist Nicole Malliotakis is stretching the truth yet again. As she winds up her nationally-funded, locally-rejected campaign for Congress, Malliotakis is trying to claim she is “voluntarily” leaving her state Assembly office. In reality, Malliotakis had to leave the seat she’s held for almost a decade in order to take the next step in her calculated political career and run for Congress.

Here’s a quick refresher on Nicole Malliotakis’ insider resume:

  • Malliotakis was a registered lobbyist for Con Edison.
  • Malliotakis has served in Albany in the Assembly since 2011.
  • Malliotakis hasn’t held a job outside of politics since she graduated from college.
  • Running for Congress is the third different political office Malliotakis has run for this decade.

We’re surprised that with so much experience campaigning, Malliotakis still finds it “really hard” to talk to voters. Does practice not make perfect?

“Former lobbyist Nicole Malliotakis is ‘voluntarily’ taking the next step to further her own career as a political insider. After a decade of running for office, her eyes are always on the next position she considers a level up, not on the needs of her constituents,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett.
