This race will be decided on a fundamental question – which candidate is dedicated to helping, not hurting, working Colorado families. Barbara Kirkmeyer has spent her 30 years in politics obsessed with pushing an extreme, far-right agenda that will harm working Colorado families.

Across the district, voters need to see TV ads on Denver Broadcast, Cable, and OTT/CTV as well as an expanded persuadable voter universe – including white men – need to see digital ads and should read direct mail about:

  • Barbara Kirkmeyer has spent her 30 years in politics obsessed with an extreme agenda that will harm Colorado families. She supports a national abortion ban without exceptions, even in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is in danger. She supports invalidating the existing marriages of gay and lesbian Coloradans. She even supports abolishing the Environmental Protection Agency and gutting enforcement of the Clean Air and Water Acts.

  • Barbara Kirkmeyer supports a national abortion ban without exceptions that would eliminate the right to have an abortion here in Colorado, even in cases of rape and incest or when the life of the mother is in danger. She supports invalidating the existing marriages of gay and lesbian Coloradans. She denies the science of climate change and even supports abolishing the Environmental Protection Agency and gutting enforcement of the Clean Air and Water Acts.

Hispanic voters need to hear Spanish Language radio ads in Spanish and Hispanic persuadable voters – especially persuadable Hispanic men – who speak English or Spanish across the district need to see digital ads in English or Spanish about and should read mail in English or Spanish about:

  • Barbara Kirkmeyer has taken more than $50,000 from the Big Oil industry and she’s put their wishes ahead of the needs of our communities. She voted to allow dangerous fracking near schools and homes without approval from local families and she’s fought against efforts to transition to clean, renewable energy like solar. Meanwhile, she supports abolishing the Environmental Protection Agency and gutting the enforcement of the Clean Air and Water Acts, even though protecting our air, water, and public lands is so important to our communities.

White persuadable voters who are OTT/CTV subscribers in Weld and Larimer Counties should see ads and white persuadable voters in Weld and Larimer Counties should see digital ads and should read direct mail about: 

  • As a doctor, Yadira Caraveo has seen the impacts of skyrocketing drug costs on her patients. That’s why, in the legislature, she took on drug companies to stop price gouging, forced them to reduce prices on many drugs, and created a first-in-the-nation cap on the cost of insulin. Meanwhile, Barbara Kirkmeyer has taken thousands from the prescription drug and insurance industries, as well as big drug companies and voted against capping the price of insulin and prescription drugs at the expense of Colorado families. Kirkmeyer even voted against holding drug companies accountable for price gouging and against capping the price of insulin.
