2026: Cunningham Attended Legacy Church In Albuquerque, Calling It His “Home Away From Home”
AUDIO: January 2026: Cunningham Said He Attended Legacy Church In Albuquerque. CUNNINGHAM: “I attend a church here in Albuquerque, named Legacy Church, and my pastor, Pastor Smotherman, got in when the governor tried to close churches down during the pandemic. I shouldn’t say tried she actually did close churches down, but there were some churches that resisted, and my church was one of them, and Pastor Smotherman was very vocal and spoke, you know, loudly about America and the Constitution and being a believer and shaping the world in the views of, you know, like we talked about earlier morality and ethics. And you know, one of the people that used to come to our church and speak was Charlie Kirk. So, I got to meet Charlie Kirk. I didn’t know him. That would be disingenuous for me to say, but I did hear him. I met him, and I heard him speak several times in very intimate settings. Was both him speaking and taking questions and answers from church members, the audience. And really that was they were the first men to challenge me, excuse me, to stand and to fight and again during the pandemic, it was that moment of what’s happening?” [Alamo Sports and Talk, Conservative News Talk, 23:59-25:22, 1/16/26] (AUDIO)
