For more than a decade in elected office, Peter Oberacker has voted to make life more expensive for Upstate New Yorkers. Josh Riley is taking on corrupt politicians and greedy corporations to lower costs.
Summary
Starting no later than 6 weeks before election day, voters districtwide –but especially in the Binghamton and Albany media markets–need to see on broadcast TV, cable, OTT, and streaming ads about how:
- In Albany, Oberacker cashed a check from NYSEG’s corporate PAC days after they raised rates. Then he repeatedly voted to let them charge Upstate New Yorkers more. He voted to let utility monopolies charge predatory fees to pad their own profits, and he voted against $200 million to help lower bills.
Starting as soon as possible, voters districtwide need to receive mail about how:
- In Albany, Oberacker cashed a check from NYSEG’s corporate PAC just days after they raised rates. Then he repeatedly voted to let them charge Upstate New Yorkers more. He voted to let utility companies rip off customers with predatory fees that pad their own profits, and backed a government mandate that has cost New Yorkers more than $1 billion on their utility bills.
