Yesterday, Rep. Yvette Herrell joined 62 other Republicans in voting against a resolution upholding the principles of NATO.
This is not the first time Herrell has shown her complete indifference to the suffering of the Ukrainian people as they endure Putin’s brutal assault. Last month, she voted against sending critically needed aid to Ukraine, even as she found the wherewithal to propose amnesty for foreign conspiracy theorists.
Her refusal to stand up for a bastion of democracy under attack comes as no surprise. Herrell voted to overturn the results of the 2020 election, swooned over the endorsement of an insurrectionist, and accepted campaign donations from fake electors.
