After frantic and desperate last-minute measures by election conspiracy theorists, a partial recount of Kansas’ constitutional amendment vote will proceed. Far-right radicals mustered over $100,000 to fund the recount, including over $70,000 for Johnson County, where voters rejected the measure by nearly 100,000 votes.
As the “far-right activist” funding the recount put it: “The recount is step number one. After that, we’re going to do a sampling to find out whether people listed as voting actually voted or if there was some kind of hanky panky going on.”
Now, Amanda Adkins must answer whether or not she stands with this new attack on reproductive freedoms and her party’s unfounded claims of voter fraud.
REMINDER: Adkins said she is “100 percent” behind the failed constitutional amendment that would have allowed the Republican-controlled state legislature to enact a total ban on abortion with no exceptions.
