Anti-choice extremist Steve Chabot has proudly worked to chip away at women’s rights for years, but when asked about Congress codifying Roe in the wake of the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, Chabot refused to answer.
Asked Friday outside the Capitol if he’d now support that bill to codify Roe, Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), whose district backed Biden by 9 points in 2020, said only: “I have a flight right now,” before diving into a waiting car.

“Chabot has built an extreme anti-choice record the past two decades, and he can’t hide from it now. He will be held accountable for his role in Ohio women losing their right to make their own decisions.”
