Dan Rodimer’s Republican Primary Opponent Puts Heat On McCarthy, Says Rodimer Should Drop Out

DCCC Chair Bustos Has Made Repeated Calls For McCarthy And NRCC To Disavow Rodimer

One of the top finishers in the June 9th Republican Primary for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District, Mindy Robinson, has called on Dan Rodimer to drop out of the congressional race. Robinson’s comments follow new reporting that Dan Rodimer has been accused of domestic violence and grand theft by Sarah Duffy, his wife. Mindy Robinson posted multiple tweets detailing the reasons that she feels Rodimer must withdraw from the race:

Robinson also faulted Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for boosting Rodimer’s primary campaign considering Rodimer’s well-known history of violence, assault, shady business dealings, and domestic disputes. Replying to a tweet from McCarthy, Robinson wrote:

“That gem Dan Rodimer you endorsed over me, just got hit with his 2nd and 3rd discovery of domestic abuse. That’s 5 cases of fraud/forgery/nonpayment, 3 roid rage assaults, and 3 domestics if you’re following along. Thanks for screwing Nevada over.👌🏻

“Wow, my criminal political opponent Dan Rodimer just popped for even more domestic dispute incidents. Thanks @GOPLeaderfor endorsing and dumping money into a conman and robbing southern Nevada at a chance of having an honest conservative in the seat.👍🏻

Statement from DCCC Spokesperson Andy Orellana:

“Mindy Robinson showed she’s in better touch with Nevadans’ values than Kevin McCarthy and Washington Republicans. It’s a shame that the NRCC and Kevin McCarthy are too afraid to say what everyone else knows to be true: Dan Rodimer is unfit for office and unfit to represent Southern Nevada.”
