Valadao’s Dollars Remain With Racist Who Denigrates DREAMers, While Valadao Remains Silent
Back in May, it was revealed that Republican candidate for CA-10, Ted Howze’s racist candidacy had been bankrolled by not only the House GOP Leadership and Kevin McCarthy, but also fellow Central Valley candidate David Valadao.
Once McCarthy and the DC GOP backed away from their endorsements of Howze, Valadao quietly asked Howze to give his $2,500 donation to “to a local food bank instead of seeking a refund.”

Reminder – Howze compared Dreamers to pedophiles, called Black Americans “political slaves” and claimed Muslims can’t be “good American citizens.”
Following this week’s FEC disclosure, it was revealed that instead of donating the funds to a local foodbank, Howze has held on to Valadao’s donation while continuing to run a racist and hateful campaign that not only has denigrated religious minorities but attacks the Central Valley’s DREAMers by comparing them to pedophiles.
“Apparently calling Dreamers pedophiles isn’t enough for David Valadao to demand his campaign donation back,” said DCCC spokesperson Andy Orellana. “Much like his record in Washington, it’s too late to make this right. With the chance to condemn real hatred within his party and in his own backyard, David Valadao has shown once again that he’s a spineless politician who will always put party politics over the needs of the Central Valley.”
