Tonight, President Biden’s State of the Union address sent a clear message to Oregonians: Democrats seek to build upon their historic results and economic progress, and tackle the challenges everyday, working Americans face. This resounding message stands in clear contrast to Lori Chavez-DeRemer, who is beholden to her party’s extreme agenda, and the MAGA extremists who control Republican leadership.

Now, rather than work with Democrats to find solutions that will help everyday families, Chavez-DeRemer has given her full support to MAGA extremists and an agenda that seeks to gut Social Security and Medicare, ban abortion nationwide, use the full faith and credit of the United States as a bargaining chip, protect wealthy tax cheats, extend Republicans’ tax giveaways for the wealthy, and prioritize MAGA-led political investigations.
