Today, the DCCC announced a seven-figure investment in digital, print and radio advertising to court, galvanize, and mobilize Latino voters in critical battleground districts. In New Mexico, Spanish and English language radio ads communicating with Latino voters will begin airing in Las Cruces and Albuquerque.
The ads will convey that extreme Republicans, like Yvette Herrell, have no plan to help working Americans, while highlighting the historic accomplishments Democrats delivered to communities.
This most recent advertisement investment is part of the historic $30 million investment in the DCCC’s Building Our Base project from last fall and joins the DCCC’s initial seven-figure investment in Latino-focused organizing programs from last spring and additional seven-figure investment in organizing programs to build relationships with Latino communities and voters.
“Democrats refuse to take Latino voters for granted and this latest investment will join the DCCC’s cycle-long commitment to court, build and expand Democrats’ relationship and commitment to the Latino electorate,” said DCCC Senior Advisor for Latino Engagement Mariafernanda Zacarias. “At a time when Republicans lie and try to deceive voters, especially in Latino communities, the DCCC is going to continue making the case that Democrats are the best bet for our families and our freedoms.”
