Nick LaLota Remains Beholden to MAGA Extremism as President Biden Shares Progress and Vision in State of the Union

Tonight, President Biden’s State of the Union address sent a clear message to New Yorkers: Democrats seek to build upon their historic results and economic progress, and tackle the challenges everyday, working class Americans face. This resounding message stands in clear contrast to Nick LaLota, who is beholden to his party’s extreme agenda, and the MAGA extremists who control Republican leadership.

REMINDER: As a candidate, LaLota opposed the legislation that capped insulin at $35 per month for Medicare recipients.

Now as a member of Congress, rather than work with Democrats to find solutions that will continue to help everyday families, LaLota has given his full support to MAGA extremists and a radical agenda that seeks to gut Social Security and Medicare, ban abortion nationwide, use the full faith and credit of the United States as a bargaining chip, protect wealthy tax cheats and extend Republicans’ wealthy tax giveaways, and prioritize MAGA-led, Trump-like political investigations.
