| The geniuses at the NRCC are begging voters to forget and ignore all of the pain they have inflicted on the American people in a new memo first reported by Punchbowl News.
They brag about a ‘friendly’ political environment, the resources of their ‘strong’ incumbents, and the ‘wins’ they are delivering back home.
Let’s check the record:
- Donald Trump is severely underwater with the American people on every major issue, including cost of living, inflation, the war in Iran, and immigration. Democrats have won every single meaningful special election since January 2025 and are overperforming in congressional special elections by 17 points. Democrats are leading in an average of the generic congressional ballot by 5.6 points.
- Across the battlefield, Democrats dominated their Republican opponents in Q1 fundraising in 42 of the DCCC’s battleground districts. Democratic Frontliners have 7 times more cash on hand than their Republican challengers. 10 of our first round of Red to Blue candidates outraised their Republican incumbent opponent in Q1, with those candidates boasting an average of $2.3 million cash on hand, more than twice as much as the average cash on hand value of “MAGA Majority” candidates.
- The cost of everything, from groceries, health care, and gas, are going up as a result of Trump’s reckless tariffs, their Big, Ugly Bill and their war of choice in the Middle East. Health care is being ripped away, hospitals are closing, and the only people who appear to be doing better than before Donald Trump became president are those closest to Jeffrey Epstein, like Donald Trump.
That spin will not only fail miserably, but land horribly with the very voters they are hoping to persuade in November – Good luck!
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“House Democrats have more money, better candidates, and very real momentum behind us. The NRCC will fail miserably in their quest to sell an alternate reality to voters and forget the suffering at the gas pump, in the grocery store, and at the hospital. End of discussion.” |
